Born from frustration and built with purpose, The Henna Hair Shop has emerged from a simple yet powerful realisation: you deserve better! You deserve honest, natural hair care options and products that truly align with your values, not just fake marketing claims.
At The Henna Hair Shop, we’re on a mission to reshape how hair care is defined. By stripping away chemical-ridden and confusing ingredient lists and replacing them with simple, raw ingredients, real education, and guidance.

Our purpose is clear: to revolutionise the hair care industry by helping customers make informed, confident choices about what they put on their hair, without compromising on results or values.

At The Henna Hair Shop, we have 3 core values:

Service – We’re committed to delivering an experience, not just a product. That means honest advice, step-by-step guidance, and responsive support for every customer at every stage of their natural hair care journey.

Education – There is a lot of conflicting and sporadic references when it comes to natural hair dye and care. We want to bridge the knowledge gap and break down complex information to help encourage others to colour their hair with plants and with confidence.

Transparency – No greenwashing. No sugarcoating. We share exactly what’s in our products and how they work — so customers always know what they're choosing. The beauty market is saturated with half-truths, but we want to bring clarity and peace of mind back into beauty.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY & SUSTAINABILITY
​We say NO to chemicals in cosmetics, keeping our oceans, rivers, and waterways free from contamination.

We say NO to animal testing; we feel good knowing that no animals were harmed or subjected to suffering just to make us look good!

These are just some of the changes we’ve made over the years to reduce our impact on the environment:

✅ Replaced traditional polythene plastic shower caps with compostable corn-based ones.
✅ Sourced biodegradable gloves to replace standard PE plastic versions.
✅ Replaced all plastic packaging for gloves and caps with compact, recyclable cardboard boxes.
✅ Switched to cardboard shipping boxes for shipping orders.

We strive to simplify processes without compromising on quality or ethics. And we remain transparent about where we are and where we need to go. We’re continuously reviewing our packaging and operations to get closer to our plastic-free goals.
